On March 24 of this year RU2 will experience their first gig abroad, namely in Bree in Belgium at the rock festival back on stage.
A festival with a rich history and always an impressive line up.
The line up for 2012: troublemaker; The Rolling Beatles, David Bowie Tribute and RU2 as headliner with a special guest.
Tickets are available online at the site of Back on Stage: www.backonstage.be.
Later this year, RU2 will again visit Belgium in Dolhain.
Because we want to focus more internationally, we decided to give our name a more international character. From January 1st of this year we are called RU2 which is an abbreviation of RooyU2 ....

The new season has begun! On Saturday March 17th RU2 will play in Mozaïek! Theatre in Wijchen.
People who want to listen quietly and enjoy RU2 can comfortably sit in the stands, for those who can’t sit quietly or want to dance there are ‘field’ tickets available!

// The highlight of the year...

2011 was a successful year and had many highlights for RU2. We played at many great shows, festivals, halls and (outdoor) theaters, such as Kersouwe in Heeswijk Dinter, to small intimate (unplugged) concerts in pubs or private parties as recently unplugged surprise act at the wedding of VJ Jean Rouge's daughter Lee!
The literal peak was definitely one of our most recent actions, playing on the roof of the new building of Inther Logistics in honor of reaching the highest point. Our Irish heroes U2, did this before us in the clip "Where the Streets have no name."
